After your teacher has registered, on the Art and Writing website, you can then set up an account to enter your works. -Returning Students: log in with your previous year’s log in(email and password). Take a high resolution photo of the art you have created that is clear, well lit and accurately represents the colors/values of your piece. Ask your teacher for help. The work is evaluated by this photograph so the better the image, the better the judge can appreciate your work. Photos may be cropped(crop the excess background or mat) and slightly adjusted, but should still maintain representation of the original. 5. Enter your work(s) on the website. You’ll upload your photo, chose the art category, add title, size and media info. You will be asked for any references you used for your piece. Be prepared to explain and provide website links if applicable. 6. Print and sign the registration form for each of your works, then give them to your teacher. This form requires a parent signature as well. 7. See your teacher about paying for your entries-- $5 for each individual entries, $20 for a senior portfolio. Payment is accepted online with your submission process. There is a fee waiver available for students if the entry fee is a financial barrier to participating. Print out the form, fill out and sign, then send it in with your entry registration form(s). QUESTIONS?
